About

Years of working with products have taught us to look closely at what makes something what it is: its proportions, materials, details, finish, and the way these things come together in use.

Rooted in product, the practice extends across physical and digital products, services, and experiences. Each is considered in its own circumstances: what belongs to it, what does not, and what changes when one part is altered.

Time is spent with the subject before anything is decided. Its circumstances, the people around it, the way it is encountered, and the decisions that have shaped it all matter. What seems settled is questioned. What might otherwise go unnoticed is given room to surface.

From there, the making begins. Sometimes something needs to be added or changed. Sometimes something needs to be removed. Sometimes the right decision is to leave it alone. Each part should have a reason to be there, while the whole remains clear, natural and unforced.

The aim is not to add more, but to understand enough to know what belongs.
